Week 1 of Transfer 14

March 23, 2017

Well it was a busy transfer week as always! Tuesday morning elder Bottari took off and Elder Rodriguez got here, we hopped right into training district leaders and moving bikes. That night we taught B., a new investigator, and put him on date for April 1st!

Wednesday we had district meeting then met with all the other Zone Leaders at President Lansings house to talk about our March Madness Teaching Tournament.

Thursday we had our Zone Expectation Meeting, then met with the leadership of the zone after that.

Friday was crazy... we had weekly planning and immediately following planning we went to temple square with an investigator, then rushed back for a meeting at President's house... then had dinner, then had to meet with a companionship that had a... disagreement... haha.

Saturday was pretty normal. Got to work most of the day!

Sunday we gave talks in two sacrament meetings, then taught the S. family, two of which are not members so we picked them up as investigators!

Monday morning we had the first round of March Madness, and that night I got to rebaptize Kody! Such an awesome experience.

Tuesday after district meeting we started exchanges, which finished yesterday, and today we went to the temple. Great stuff! Have a good one, talk to you Monday!

Love,

Bowling on P-day with the South Jordan Zone

18 Months!

February 27, 2017

So yesterday I hit my 18 month mark. If I was a sister... I would be going home.. but I'm not! WooHoo!!

Monday was a good pday, we had a Zone activity, then later that evening we taught an NFL quarterback and picked him up as a new investigator! Pretty neat.

Tuesday morning we went to a great district meeting put on by one of our great district leaders,

And Wednesday we started exchanges with another great district leader. I was on a bike during the exchange... boy it got cold! Not used to biking in the snow, haha.

Thursday was pretty great. We ended exchanges early in the morning then had a meeting with all the district leaders and the STL. It was a great meeting, in it we prayed and asked the lord what our march goal needs to be, we all received very clearly the answer that the South Jordan Zone can hit 8 baptisms in March! After that I interviewed a lady named C. for baptism, then we made visits in the stake. I went with a ward missionary who just got released as the bishop, and a Ward mission Leader who just got released as an area 70 in south America, and before that he was a mission president. So it was a pretty powerful group I was with. Haha. We went and visited a family we've been working with and had a very good lesson on the restoration, the spirit was super strong. After that lesson we picked up another new investigator, C., an unbaptized child.

Friday was good, we had a meeting with prez and the assistants after lunch which went till dinner...

The rest of our weekend was good. Tons of miracles in the zone, 6/9 of our companionships will baptize this transfer! That's pretty good.

Hope everyone stays safe in all that snow out there...
